Where do we get the information?

We survey apartment owners, professional property managers, and on-site property managers every spring. Each member of this "Panel of Experts" takes time to share rental market information for his or her properties by completing our survey.

The survey questionnaire asks participants to provide information about current rents, turnover rents, vacancies, concessions, turnover rates, how long apartments stay vacant, parking charges, water and sewer billing, their views about the market, plans for the next six months, and more.

Participants receive a free Executive Summary of the results. (Learn more about participating.)
